The olive oil is the heart of Mediterranean food nutrition, which has proven to be a proper standard of health diet and factor of longevity. The oil is a rich source of fat soluble vitamins A, D, K and E which specifically protects us from cancer (an example is breast cancer) as well as osteoporosis. Those vitamins and the precious olive oil polyphenols, are found only in virgin olive oils.
